I have obtained some very nice purse holders and replaced the glass on the top with different types of polished rocks.  They are quite nice and hang on the edge of the table with the rock showing on the top. See photos of them with different type of polished stones below. They vary slightly in price based on the type of rock used with Lapis being the most expensive. They all fold up as shown below and fit in a supplied black velvet bag.
